<p>The Stoics of the Old, from the learned Greek slave Epictetus to the renowned Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius. They're skilled teachers imparting wisdom to anyone who studies them.</p>
<p>Stoicism has helped and continues to guide many to achieve happiness in life, or what they call "eudaimonia" (a deep sense of fulfillment and well-being).</p>
<p>To achieve it, the stoics follow the 4 cardinal virtues: wisdom, courage, moderation, and justice. Straying away from these virtues leads to vices. Additionally, there are preferred and dispreferred indifferents.</p>
<h3>💡 Wisdom 💡</h3>
<p>Wisdom is about understanding the world around you, seeing it for what it is, and setting aside your own judgments and biases. It allows you to make excellent decisions in all aspects of life and navigate challenges with clarity and insight.</p>
<h3>⚔ Courage ⚔</h3>
<p>Courage is the ability to face challenging situations, adversity, or obstacles without being overwhelmed by fear or uncertainty. It is not the elimination of fear, desire, or anxiety but rather acting in the right way despite them. Courage means standing up for what is right, even when it's difficult or unpopular, and staying true to your principles.</p>
<h3>☕ Moderation ☕</h3>
<p>Moderation, also known as temperance or self-control, helps guard against extremes by avoiding excess and seeking contentment in simplicity. It allows you to prevent being swept away by external events, desires, and emotions and maintain a sense of inner peace.</p>

<p>Justice means treating others as you would like to be treated in Stoicism. It involves how to behave, act, and respond to one another with fairness.</p>
